Now that we are the carnival season why not to talk about one of the most beautiful carnival in the world!
In Venice you feel the spirit by all over the town, but of course if you want tranquillity it isn’t the best place for you to go since that is really crowded! Speciality near St Mark’s Square.
You can buy a mask ( yes… if you want one original you pay a lot of money for it) and enjoy the carnival on your way.
There is a lot of pizzerias to have lunch or dinner but be careful if you booked your trip in a low cost way, just do not take anything in St Mark’s Square is really expensive!
Take a romantic gondola tour in the beautiful and narrow channels that you find all over the city, with a gondolier that is dressed with the traditional clothes.
Another interesting thing to do is to take the vaporeto and visit the island of Murano, where you can see the workers making the Murano glass. Murano glass is really pretty, since that it has a lot of colours and shapes.
